As Christians grow older, does the reason they believe Christian dogma change?

Do you think that children are more likely to be scared of the Christian hell concept and are also more likely to be moved by the jesus myth as opposed to adults? If so, then do you think that the reason children believe Christian dogma is mostly due to fear of hell and the horror generated by the barbaric Jesus myth? Whereas adults believe Christian dogma because they think that society needs it to be moral or something like that?

It did for me. When I was very young my family went to a Baptist church and I was taught "yes jesus loves me" every Sunday until we stopped going. It was years and years later before I ever had any interest in religion at all. Now that I am older and able to examine it all for myself I see the Divine Wisdom in the laws and commandments of God and I see the results of a society that turns its back on them.
